Baseball All Stars Capture Championships

Westfield's 11 year old All Stars advanced to the Massachusetts State Semifinals to highlight a summer in which four teams won District 2 titles. The unprecedented run included District Championship runs by the 12, 11, 10 and 9 year old All Star teams.

12 Year Olds
Westfield's 12 year old All Stars claimed the District Championship with a thrilling 6-3 win at Longmeadow. The team then topped Holden 3-2 in extra innings in its first Sectional game. They fell in their next two games and finished the summer with an overall record of 7-3.

12 All Stars

11 Year Olds
Westfield's 11 year old All Stars topped Longmeadow 10-4 in the District 2 Championship before opening State Sectional play with a 6-3 win over Holden. They defeated Pittsfield 13-2 in their next game and then rolled to a 14-2 triumph over Holden in the Section 1 Championship. Westfield faced off against Reading in the State Semifinals, falling 4-2 in a nail biter.

11 All Stars

10 Year Olds
Westfield's 10 year old All Stars went 6-0 in district play, outscoring its opponents 81-10. The team took home the District 2 Championship with a 16-0 win over Southampton. After falling to Holden in their first game of State Sectional play, they rebounded with a 13-3 triumph over Pittsfield. Their run came to an end with a heartbreaking 3-2 loss at Holden in the Sectional Championship.

10 All Stars

9 Year Olds
Westfield's 9 year old All Stars posted a perfect 5-0 record en route to the District 2 Championship. The team erased an early deficit in its 17-4 victory over Longmeadow in the title game.
